Located 20miles away to the west of Rennes, on the outskirts of Broceliande‘s forest, the château de la Châsse is looking forward to welcoming you. This castle dates back to the 19th century it’s architectures goes quite well with the contemporary stile of the orangery. The trees surrounding the castle are over a century old, our many roses and from the alleys you can smell the roses and hydrangeas. Our terrace gives a stunning view on the river.
November 2012, Françoise and Jean-Philippe decided to give up their management position in Paris to start a brand new chapter of their life in Brittany. This was quite a challenge. It was also quite an ambitious project since it took them almost three years to renovate and transform these buildings into what they are now.

We have dedicated all our time and energy to restore this place. This renovation has been made possible by collaborating with local craftsmen who where drawn by the same desire of giving to this castle it’s original grandeur. The orangery was added in 2016 to add a little bit of modernity to the location. We wanted this place to be unique, out of time. A place where families and frends could be together in a cosy atmosphere.
